Tutorial Tuesday: My (New) Current Hair Routine

I thought since I have new hair, now would be a great time to share my new current hair routine, the first thing I do is wash my hair (on Sunday night and Wednesday night), with the Aussie Moisture shampoo, I was it 2x in the shower because I use a lot of product throughout the week and want to get it all out, then I condition with the Aussie 3 minute Miracle Moist Conditioner and allow it to sit for 5 minutes, after rinsing I squeeze (not wring) my hair and then put it in a towel for a few minutes.

Then using the Revlon Uniq One Coconut Leave in detangler I put a few sprays of this bad boy in my hair it it will do pretty much everything, detangle, UV Protection, Shine, Color Protection...and it goes on for about another 5 minutes hahaha, Then I use the Tresemme Keratin smooth end serum on my ends and then add in the Tresemme Heat Protectant and allow my hair to get about 80% dry I in my "Hair Cocktail" its 1 pump of Bead Head Blow-Out and 1 1/2 pump of It's a 10 Miracle Styling Serum, and then I blow-dry going from the roots to end with a paddle brush until dry. Once dry I add another pump of Bead Head Blow-Out and 1 1/2 pumps of It's A 10 Miracle Serum run it through my hair and then I brush my bangs to the side and I'm good to go. Throughout the week I use the Dove Dry Shampoo and Garnier Dry Shampoo and continue to add my Hair Cocktail.

My Meals Monday: March 30, 2015

I started off my morning with my usual Iced Coffee, and today was a big editing day for me as I have a ton of videos that I filmed while Matthew was here but was unable to edit and upload.

Because of my copious amounts of editing that needed to be done I missed breakfast and had a small smoothie that I bought while Matthew was here visiting, unfortunately I bought them at costco and still have about 30 of these little guys left.

For lunch I had some left over angel-hair pasta with meat sauce, this is from a restaurant here called Assagio's and they have the best meat sauce ever!!!

For dinner tonight I had a mundo burrito from Taco Del Mar, it was a spinach tortilla with black beans, lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo, ground beef, and a side of sour cream and guacamole.

For dessert I had 6 fun size chocolates, these too are left overs of Matthew's and I am so glad they are gone now because if theres chocolate in the house I will consume it hahaha.

Hello lovelies, I know it has been a ridiculous amount of time since my last post but I was sick and then had my 9 year old brother Matthew visiting for 3 weeks, and now that I feel like I am back to normal it's time to get back to our normal schedule.

As many of you know I am using 2015 as my year of change, part of that inside and the other part is outside, so I decided to start with my hair. It seems like I have been rocking the brunette look since I was 18 so I decided to mix it up and do the ombre look that I have been wanting to try but too much of a scaredy cat to actually do. I would call this my transition hair because as I have mentioned I have fine hair but a lot of it which means it took 4 hours just to apply all the color and then 40 minutes for the color to set and a quick 10 minute layering trim, because of the time it takes to apply the color this hair transition was insanely expensive almost 3x what I thought it would be so for that reason I had the blond brought up higher on my head so that as my hair grows out, (which is the plan), I won't have to pay the crazy cost in just 8 weeks.

I feel so good about this change, I can't even explain how much more confident and happy I feel, just by getting my hair done. I am enjoying playing with it and adjusting to the side-swept bangs. I am going to include some pictures of my hair over the years just so you can see the change for yourself.
